The two common surface treatment processes of curved aluminum veneer

We learned in Curved aluminum veneer surface treatment method that the most frequent curved aluminum veneer comes in three varieties: roller-coated plate, sprayed plate, and laminated plate. The curved aluminum veneer in the roller coating plate is something we're already familiar with. The spraying plate and laminated plate are further explained in the following article.

Spraying plate

Spraying the plate is the inverse of roller-coating; it is first used to form the light aluminum plate according to the drawing, then polished and sent to the cleaning tank for alkali and acid washing. It is then taken to the spray paint room for spraying and baking.

The spraying method is classified into two types: electrostatic adsorption and non-electrostatic adsorption. Dry powder spraying and liquid spraying are also options. Some of the paints used are suitable for indoor usage, while others, such as anti-aging compounds, are suitable for outdoor use. Aluminum sheet surface spraying has a thickness of 50100m, which is several times thicker than roller-coated sheet paint.

After the aluminum sheet is created, the spraying procedure begins. Minor flaws in the aluminum sheet itself, as well as flaws introduced during the forming process, can be compensated for by the spraying process. The coating procedure is extremely versatile. The paint surface generated by the spraying method is rough and not smooth, which is comparable to "orange peel." Spraying is most commonly utilized for profiled panels. When customers request 1.5 mm aluminum sheets, they are also sprayed. The equipment used for spraying is mainly spray guns and baking ovens. The model and style of the equipment vary, and the price difference is correspondingly large.

Laminate

When a sheet is laminated, a plastic (PET) film is attached to the bare metal sheet and squeezed up and down with a roller. Furthermore, the color and pattern can be printed on the plastic film ahead of time to beautify the board's surface. This method of producing aluminum-plastic panels was once highly popular. However, it was eventually discovered that the plastic was easily oxidized, therefore it was no longer widely utilized. Furthermore, with the laminate made from a small square plate and the ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen being attractive and elegant at a reasonable price, this is a highly promising market. Laminate is not commonly used in large technical buildings.
