What Should Be Considered When Using Aluminum-Plastic Panels?

When employing aluminum-plastic panels, there are ten factors to keep in mind.

(1) Aluminium-Plastic Panels should be stored or placed in a dry, ventilated area to avoid water collection, and the ambient temperature should not exceed 70 C. Installation should be avoided in unusual settings such as smoke, dust, sand, radiation, hazardous gases, and chemicals.

(2) The aluminum-plastic panels must be transported or stored flat. To avoid scratching the board's surface, the four sides of the board must be lifted at the same moment during transit.

(3) When slotting with a slotting machine or a gong machine, a round-head or V-shaped flat-head saw blade or milling cutter with a 90-degree diameter should be used, and a 0.2–0.3 mm thick plastic core board should be left with the panel's edge. To improve the hardness and toughness of aluminum flakes while preventing hydrogenation. When bending, too sharp corners, cutting damage to the aluminum panel, or too thick plastic is left behind, causing the metal panel to shatter or the paint film to explode.

(4) When bending the edge, use even force, form once, and do not bend repeatedly, or the aluminum panel will be broken.

(5) To maintain the flatness of the aluminum-plastic plate and improve its wind resistance, it must be lined with a skeleton and glued to the plate after bending.

(6) When used for arc-shaped surface decoration, bending equipment should be used to bend the aluminum-plastic panel slowly and forcefully, so that the panel gradually reaches the required curved surface rather than in one step. The radius of the bend should be greater than 750 pixels.

(7) Install the aluminum-plastic panels in the same process, directly on the same plane. Otherwise, parallax may occur.

(8) The protective film should be removed within 45 days of the fireproof aluminum composite panel installation; otherwise, the protective film will age due to prolonged sun exposure. When tearing the film, the glue may form.

(9) To ensure their service life, interior wall panels should be used indoors and not installed outdoors.

(10) If the board's surface becomes contaminated during construction or use, gently clean it with a neutral detergent or alcohol. Strong acid or alkaline detergents should not be used.

Aluminum Composite Panel Suppliers would like to remind consumers that the prices of aluminum composite panels with different specifications and uses will vary. Please be aware of market conditions before making a purchase. You must be mindful of maintenance when using aluminum composite panels.
