PVDF Application Procedure

In our manufacturing plant, PVDF is applied using a resin-based liquid coating system, also known as a liquid spray coating gun. The following steps outline the process of applying PVDF coating to ACP sheets.


1. Surface Cleaning

A smooth and abrasion-free surface is required for the application of high-quality paint. The surface of the aluminum alloy sheet is prepared for this. On the surface of the aluminum, cleaning, degreasing, oxidation, or rust removal are performed.


2. Primer

Primer is applied to the surface after surface preparation to effectively stabilize the metal surface and improve adhesion for top layer application.


3. Top PVDF Coating

When the top layer of the coating is applied, color pigment is applied to the surface. It acts as a surface to protect the panel from abrasion as well as sunlight and water damage.


4. Clear PVDF Coating

It is the topmost layer or final coating of the aluminum panel in this 3-layer coating procedure. Curing the sheets is required to protect them from weather changes and to maintain the durability that comes with resistance to damage during exposure to harsh conditions.
