How to Install Aluminum Composite Panels on Walls

Even though everyone knows aluminum composite panels can be used as partitions, many do not understand how to use them. This information cannot be understood if you wish to achieve better results.

It is recommended to use aluminum composite panels of 6mm or more for the construction of partition walls, which should then be fixed to the wall with screws with countersunk heads of 3.5200mm. To ensure a flat surface, the nail head should be 0.5mm lower than the surface of the substrate. The exact location of the keel should be marked and labeled. There is a distance of 450-600 mm between the centers of the vertical keels. At the joints of the walls, windows, and doors, additional keels should be installed. It is necessary to support the keel at the joints of the panel if the height of the wall exceeds 2440 millimeters.

There is a gap between ACP panels of 4-6 mm during installation. The manufacturer of ACP panels recommends using 107 glue or strong glue to mix thoroughly. Then, apply a squeegee to the panels and gap, followed by taping and flattening with paper tape or style tape.
